Fiat 500 spotted in Toronto

The Fiat 500 won't be available in Canada until late this year or early next but I spotted one this weekend parked in Toronto's trendy King West neighbourhood. In fact, if you live in Toronto or Montreal you have a good chance of checking one out for yourself.

According to ciaofiat.ca, the 500 will be on display throughout Toronto and Montreal to help build buzz in advance of going on sale. You can follow Fiat500Canada's tweets for specific information on where and when the car will be on display.

And this wasn't the only new small car spotted in Toronto this weekend.

The folks over at Sympatico Autos spotted a 2011 Nissan Micra parked in downtown Toronto. No, the Micra isn't headed here. Nissan United Kingdom was filming a commercial for the Micra, just a few blocks away from where the Fiat 500 was located this weekend.

That looks like it might be the same one that was used at the Indy as a pace car for one of the races.
