GM exec who called Cobalt "horrible" goes after Corvette
May 27, 2010
Last week we told you about the GM exec who publicly called the Cobalt "horrible" (link). This week, Karl Stracke, GM's vice president of global vehicle engineering has something to say about the Corvette.
Stracke told Edmunds Inside Line that GM is refocusing on interior quality. "I want to be at Audi quality. Audi is the benchmark for interiors." He went on to say, "I've driven the Corvette Grand Sport and I like it a lot, but the interior is not convincing."
Can you argue with that? Imagine a Corvette with an Audi-grade interior. That would be a forced to be reckoned with.
