Subaru Canada has best August ever
Sep 1, 2010
Subaru Canada announced today that it set a brand new record for sales results in August. In fact, sales reached 2,328 units, which is up a whopping 20.0 percent over the previous record set just last year.
This past month marked the 13th month of continuous growth, fortifying Subaru Canada's position as the fastest growing Japanese manufacturer in Canada.
August was also a record-breaking month for both Legacy sedan and Outback models as sales rose by 85.4 and 89.7 percent, respectively, over the same month last year.
"The launch of the all-new 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX and WRX STI generated a lot of excitement at the dealerships this month," says Shiro Ohta, president and CEO of SCI. "This level of enthusiasm in the showrooms also helped car buyers open their eyes to the breadth of our product offering. We've worked hard to ensure that our entire lineup offers a unique combination of safety, performance and outstanding value that translates into true driving confidence for our consumers."
