If you ask people what their favorite supercar brand is, usually they will reply either saying Ferrari or Lamborghini. Ask me what my favorite supercar brand is, I will respond not with the typical Ferrari or Lamborghini, but with the Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg.
Last week Koenigsegg unveiled their latest creation at the Geneva Auto Show, called the Agera.

In the Swedish language Agera means to act, and symbolizes Koenigsegg philosophy of striving forward and seeking challengers beyond limitations. To keep Koenigsegg moving forward, the Agera is powered by 4.7 twin turbo V8 developed in-house producing an astonishing 910 hp at 7250 rpm, and 738 pound-feet of torque. Weight remains relatively light for a supercar with the Agera tipping the scale at 2832 lbs.
The Agera also has new technology including adjustable ABS brakes with ventilated and drilled ceramic discs, and a new traction control system. This new traction control system is the fastest in the industry at adapting to road surfaces, and driving styles automatically. In addition to the automatic adapting traction control, several manual settings are also present. An all-new multimedia display cluster allows the driver access navigation, g-meter, power meter, lap timer, and music with ease.
The Koenigsegg Agera will be produced along side the CCX and CCXR and will be launched later this year with orders being taken.Currently their are no Koenigsegg dealerships in Canada. If you would like a new Agera, it can be imported to Canada via America.
