Edmonton Chrysler dealership employee kills co-worker and himself

An employee of Great West Chrysler Jeep in Edmonton, Alberta killed two people Friday morning when he opened fire at the dealership. The shooter, Dave Burns, took his own life after fatally shooting the Parts Manager. A second service employee was shot and remains in hospital.

According to The Calgary Sun, Burns was to return to work on Friday after being suspended for two weeks after posting sexually explicit photos of a dealership employee on the staff bulletin board. According to various reports Burns was trying to embarrasses a "non-white" person on staff.

In a tragic turn of events one of the first police officers on the scene was the wife of the Parts Manager who was fatally shot.

Over the weekend reports surfaced that Burns was convicted of manslaughter after stabbing a teenager at a party in Winnipeg in 1974.

Now this is an unique case in Edmonton. Two members of a Chrysler dealership are murdered for a silly reason.
