Carroll Shelby to be inducted into Canadian MotorSports Hall of Fame
Jan 20, 2010
There are very few names in the auto industry that carry as much weight as Carroll Shelby. As a sign of respect and acknowledgment for his contribution to the auto industry, Shelby will be inducted into the Canadian MotorSports Hall of Fame on February 10th.
The event will be hosted by the Canadian International Auto Show and supported by the Toronto Automobile Dealers Foundation. And now for the best part, you can attend.
Okay, those with $150 for a ticket can attend.
An autographed 2011 Ford Shelby GT 500 will be auctioned at the event.
The GT 500 will be one of approximately 40 of the most historic cars associated with Shelby's long career that will be on display. Shelby himself, now 87, is expected to attend, along with several other industry and motorsports personalities who have played a role in his story.
