Mercedes-Benz Canada's Driving Academy

Mercedes-Benz Canada's Driving Academy became a traveling performance driving school this year, starting with classes in and around Toronto, including the famous Mosport race track, with dates and tracks also booked for Montreal, Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver.

For the last five years, the school has been based out of Shannonville race track near Belleville, Ontario, which is located almost exactly half way between Montreal and Toronto.

This year the program changed and it now incorporates urban parking lots for the majority of its half- and full-day driving courses. The current program also incorporates race tracks into the full-day Mastering Performance courses, which now are listed on Mercedes-Benz Canada's website, for $1,595.

Another benefit to the Driving Academy is that class sizes are limited to only 12 participants. This is great because there are 12 vehicles in ear course, meaning you get maximum driving time by having your own vehicle.

The lineup of vehicles used for the courses range from the B200 Turbo, various C-Classes, a couple of diesels (E320 BlueTec and ML320 CDI), on up to a number of AMG models (E63, SLK55 and CLK63 Convertible).

Check out the 2009 schedule to see what's still available.
