BMW Group Canada sales dipped in February but sales of BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicles soared. A sign of the tough economic times, perhaps?

New car sales at BMW Group Canada (BMW and MINI) fell 4% compared to February 2008. If you forget about MINI, BMW sales actually rose 4% last month. MINI sales plunged 39% for the month, dragging down the overall performance of BMW Group Canada.

BMW Certified Pre-Owned vehicle sales jumped 25% compared to the same period last year, not bad considering these vehicles contribute significantly to dealer profitability...they just don't keep the factories busy.
