Report: Ford working on F-150 “Raptor”

FordRaptor.jpgRumour has it that Ford is working on a high performance, off-road version of its F-150 pickup truck. The new truck is being developed under the internal code name “Raptor”.

This enhanced version, if you will, features a long-travel suspension, 35-inch tires and possibly a turbocharged version of the upcoming Boss V8 engine. Essentially, the Raptor would be capable of plowing through rough terrain at high speeds.

If given the go ahead, the Raptor could be available two years form now. Very cool!
